Lets start with the good things: if you invest round about 8 bugs, you will get a player that can play A/V content as well as radio to a dlna renderer of your choice . A unique feature is, that you even can stream from a dlna server to an appleTV.
But - here are the drawbacks:
- the UI isnt that responsive , so that it takes often more klicks on the screen to get a feature working.
- no continuous play of iTunes play lists
- no chapter skip in videos
- to small navigation bar that makes it impossible to navigate in content
- no language selection in videos
- start stop for music playback doesnt work for many renderers
- unlogic UI: "room selection" does not work with the upper wheel in stead you have to turn the phone
- no iPad mode, works only in high format with reduced resolution
I hope, the developers will spend a bit more time on testing and UI improvement, because from a feature point of view this app have the potential to became a killer app.
